The Process
The PROCESS from start to finish can be best summarized following the steps below. Each website is unique but as a general rule, these are the steps we will follow.
1. Initiate contact between the customer and the Killer Bee Web Design LLC. Usually through phone interviews or email exchange.
2. Determine the needs of the client’s website. What is the site for? What type of custom work, if any, will they need? How many pages are needed?
3. Would a package website suit their needs over a custom site? Do they have an idea already in mind? Etc.
4. Do they need a Content Management System such as SurrealCMS, Expression Engine, or Wordpress?
5 What content will be provided by the client? Graphics, text, etc.
6. Based on the interview process develop a model page that expresses the theme for the overall website.
7. Upload model page to test server for evaluation by the client. Use feedback from client to adjust the website’s properties.
8. Begin completion of the remaining pages.
9. Upload web pages to the server for client to evaluate. Based on client critique, modify the site until they are satisfied with the layout and content.
10. With the initial stage complete, conduct a thorough evaluation for bugs within the site. Links, content, layout, buttons, and scripts.
11. Request final evaluation from client. If all is satisfactory according to client’s requests, upload the completed site to the clients server.
